Local Character and Local Charm
I will have to say that when I first went out to Gainesville, I really didn’t know what to expect, it was a rainy day, and it was a bit foggy and rolling in over 66, I could see the foothills of the Shenandoah, and I was mesmerized, I could see what the fuss was about. This former cattle town in Prince William County is really quite lovely! Gainesville has been rapidly growing since the 200’s with the expansion of 66, the growth of many shopping centers, the not so new anymore Wegman’s shopping Center, and the access to all of the historical parks like Bull Run, which is not just beautiful, but rich with history, and the setting is glorious. Many track home builders find the expansive nature of the area appealing, because large swaths of land may be purchased and built upon. With the new construction and newly built shopping centers, Gainesville gives those seeking more home for the money with the longer commute into the Beltway the thumbs up.
