A little Falls Church community that begs you to stop & take a second look
Falls Church is a community that is often listed on the Forbes top 10 places to live due to the quality of life. Low unemployment, median housing prices are comfortable and there are great schools, plus the proximity to Washington, DC and Arlington are Fantastic! Fenwick Park is one of the gem neighborhoods in Falls Church that can nearly be over looked because if you blink, you have missed it. Teeny-tiny, little Fenwick park sits between Lee Highway / Arlington Boulevard (Rt. 50) just over south of National Memorial Park and super close to what so many refer to as Loehmann’s Plaza.
Fenwick park is a cluster of late 1940s and 1950’s cape cods which have mostly been expanded and renovated, but still holds the original charm and character of an intimate, old-school neighborhood. One that would have a "come on up to the front porch and have some iced-tea" or "Hi guys, block party next month, deal?!" Mature landscaping, coupled with the charming, well-kept capes make Fenwick Park a pristine spot on the edge of Falls Church. Quick access to 50, Lee Highway and the Mosaic District make this area even more desirable now that construction has calmed down on the Beltway fly-over bridges which connect Falls Church to Merrifield. Fenwick Park is going to be the next little hot-spot for single family homes in Falls Church.
