Known as one of the higher rent districts in Northern Virginia, McLean is just inside the beltway and has fantastic proximity to DC. Peppered with sprawling estates and gorgeous multi-million dollar homes, McLean is definitely a zip code to be desired. There are also many single family homes that are within reach as well as fabulous condominiums such as the very desirable McLean House, The Rotunda, Lilian Court, The Colonies (one of my personal favorites) and more. McLean still has elements of a home town feel with the high-end Tyson’s Corner just around... the corner. McLean, Virginia is a fantastic community defined as being 3 miles from the Metropolitan Urban Center that is Tyson’s Corner which is projected to be the "next big thing" in Fairfax County real estate- with all of the anticipated growth in commercial real estate for Tyson’s (at least between now and 2050- I say we have some time) and with the infrastructure of the Silver Line finally come to fruition, McLean is nestled into a perfect spot to take advantage of situs!
Our favorite things about McLean: McLean is gorgeous. It is stately and you can find some amazing homes that are just plane astonishing and put Elle Decor to shame. Then down the road a piece, you’ll find the precious little spots like the Colonies that will allow for folks to have a little part of the McLean action. Still full of character and charm, my favorite thing, is yet again, finding the unexpected and loving it up. You already know that it is centrally located between both DC and Bethesda and is – consistently clouted as one of the top areas in Fairfax County for school systems, and proximity to the District. Whether you favor it for proximity to the District, the main street America feel or the affluent nature of the residents; we often see more than 2 in the Forbes most wealthy and influential lists from McLean.
