History goes well beyond the classic 1950’s in this community
Ravenwood Park in the Falls Church and or Annandale community is nestled between Leesburg Pike, Lake Barcroft and Patrick Henry. You will find a gem of 1950’s two and three story ranch homes which are complete cool and mostly untouched in their awesomeness. Originally crafted by the Coffman and McCaffery, Inc. Builders, these homes were designed with the 1950’s suburban dwellers who wanted trees and land in mind.
There are just over 250 homes in the Ravenwood Park community, and there is an active volunteer-style civic association which will host fun events for the community such as Fourth of July Parades and Octoberfest for those who are so inclined to participate. The homes in Ravenwood Park are situated on stately lots for the Northern Virginia standard, generally over .30 acre and the proximity to the Seven Corners area, as well as being just a short seven miles into the District make this location in Falls Church/Annandale a great place to call home!
There are also some little inlets and alcoves of Ravenwood, like the Cavils that give some sass to the community with amazing architecture, and the estates which lead towards Sleepy Hollow, are amazing. This little gem near Seven Corners is worth a look.
