The Gateway into the District
You have never seen a more dynamic location than that of Columbia Pike. This is seriously an amazing location, breathing life into South Arlington and getting an infusion of new urbanism with the Columbia Pike Revitalization Organization at the helm. Columbia Pike has some of the most traffic passing through to get into the District, but this just means that The Pike is a place that has its finger on the pulse of creativity and synergy for the county. From mixed use to condo developments, The Pike has recently seen some new projects from Evergreen and NV Homes which should be wrapping up soon. This main artery through the County heads all of the way down into Falls Church through Bailey’s Cross Roads where there are many mid-rise and garden style homes for all price ranges. The W&OD trail cuts through, and transportation is multi-modal. Many things are happening through Columbia Pike, and we'll have to keep our eye on the updates that will connect Columbia Pike to Shirlington and the Shirlington Crest through Nauck. These are exciting times to get into the market space.
