My Proudest Moment: I once ate a big as your plate steak from the Hoffbrau in Austin Texas; I met the New Kids on the Block backstage at a show. Oh yeah, I also coached a little league football team to the National Championship down in Daytona Florida. Then there was the time I helped underwrite the acquisition of over half a billion dollars worth of multifamily assets across the southeastern United States and helped position them for sales. I could go on, but now all I can think about is that steak.
Biggest Challenge: I have never beaten Contra without using the Konami code. And not blurting out who did it while watching crime dramas with my girlfriend, Jessica.
Alarm Clock: Is it cliche to say it's my dog? I can't sleep in past 7 am without him pouncing on me.
Perfect Day: Any day Calvin lets me sleep until 7:45 am
First Job: In middle school, I would walk the woods looking for stray golf balls clean them then sell them on the golf course at 4 for $1. My first real job was in high school doing landscaping for an industrial park. I had a pair of work gloves that by the end of the summer were nothing but strips of leather held together by pieces of duct tape. I held onto them for a while afterward as a constant reminder. Not of the hard work, I had done, but to remind me that at the time I was fully capable of replacing those gloves, but was too "in the moment" to ever stop and think if I should.
Favorite NoVa Neighborhood: Tough I like the openness (and wineries) around Leesburg, but also enjoy the general history of Old Town Alexandria.
Inspiration: I guess a good speech like Al Pachino in Any Given Sunday. But on a day to day, it is seeing people overcoming what they thought were obstacles.
Advon is: Team You. We are your support and logistics division. It doesn't matter if you are buying your first house, an investment property or looking to sell your house. We are here to help in every way to make sure the transaction runs like it should.
What does Adam love about Northern Virginia: I touched on this above, but this area truly is a melting pot. You have a fresh mixture of old and new from the people who live here and moving here to the architecture around us all. It is no wonder why the real estate market here is a whole different animal.
